CONSUMER FRAUD

The firm regularly handles class actions against companies involving allegations of common law fraud or violations of California's consumer protection statutes, including the Unfair Competition Law and the Consumers Legal Remedies Act.  

Such cases have included claims including the following:  (1) claims against banks for failing to disclose material information to borrowers; (2) claims against manufacturers for failing to disclose defects in their products, or for misrepresenting the qualities or characteristics of their products; (3) claims against entities for failing to provide the services that they represented would be provided; and (4) claims against entities for aiding and abetting the fraudulent conduct of other companies.
